Consultant – Impact & Data Analyst – Urban Heat Resilience and Community Engagement
We’re looking for an Impact & Data Analyst to help us answer a simple but important question: when we reach people with information about extreme heat, does it actually change what they do?
About This Programme
We are running a programme on urban heat resilience in India and the Philippines. With local partners, we will use phone calls (IVR), WhatsApp, SMS and social media to support vulnerable populations to protect themselves against the health impacts extreme heat.
Our partners have the outreach channels to connect and deliver information to the most vulnerable groups in society. The challenge is to determine whether reaching more people changes what they do. We need an analyst to design the tests that answer that, work out how to measure what matters from new and varied data, and tell us honestly what the results show.
This is a fixed-term contract for 7 months, expected to require 4 days per week, with the opportunity to extend if the programme expands. We expect the role to start in early December 2026, and you can be based in India, the Philippines or the UK.
What You’ll Do
- Agree reach measures with partners for each channel (delivered, listened to, read, etc.).
- Design tests with partners to understand the impact of communications across different channels.
- Bring together data from disparate sources and standardise it for analysis.
- Analyse the results to understand real-world impact, based on RedR’s and our partners’ aims.
- Communicate findings clearly to RedR and partner colleagues.
- Recommend changes to messages and channels as the project runs.
Location: India, the Philippines or the UK
Contract: Consultant, ~4 days/week, 7 months
Salary: Negotiable
Closing date: 20/11/2026
