HPass Standards

Empowering humanitarians through digital credentials that showcase their achievements.

If you complete any RedR course, you’ll receive an HPass digital badge as well as your bespoke RedR certificate. But what is Hpass?

HPass is a widely recognised humanitarian digital badge that employers and learning providers to demonstrate your learning, skills, and experience.

How does it work?

A digital badge is an indicator of achievement, like a certificate, that can be displayed, accessed, and verified online to demonstrate your competencies, skills and experience to employers and colleagues. The badge ‘metadata’ (visible when you click on a badge), tells the viewer exactly what you have done to earn it.

HPass badges are a way of demonstrating that you have completed a training with a provider who aligns with the HPass Quality Standards. These standards provide relevant criteria to measure the quality of learning provision; providers can use these as a basis for checking their performance and to guide improvements. Learning providers that meet these standards are contributing to the overall commitment that people involved in humanitarian action will have access to quality learning programmes that will allow them to work more effectively. RedR is proud to have been instrumental in the development of these standards to help guide the provision of quality learning and assessment for humanitarian practitioners.
