E-learning

We design self-paced modules tailored to the learners’ needs

In addition to on-line facilitated and face-to-face offerings, RedR UK is highly experienced in designing and delivering self-paced modules.

We appreciate the importance of providing flexible training accessible to those in hard-to-reach locations. Our e-learning does not compromise on quality: as part of our strategy, we have committed to refining our delivery models and investing in systems that support quality, adaptability and reach – updating our training methods in line with adult learning best practice tailored to the humanitarian context and enhancing digital learning capabilities. We are also able to produce self-paced learning content in multiple languages –Arabic, Spanish, Ukrainian, French and Burmese being some examples.

In reflection of our strategic focus on resource creation, RedR has developed and continues to maintain a bank of free, self-paced, e-learning modules. These provide introductory, foundational knowledge on the humanitarian sector and are available online

Nature-based solutions for climate resilience

In partnership with Sphere, we designed and delivered an engaging e-learning module on Nature-based Solutions for Climate Resilience in Humanitarian Action. This foundational and timely module translates technical guidance into a practical, user-friendly tool for the humanitarian community, and is now hosted on Kaya and available for global use.

Digital Humanitarian Academy for Congolese NGOs

As part of the H2H-funded Digital Humanitarian Academy project, which supports a national network of over 500 Congolese NGOs (CONAFOHD), RedR is leading the development of three contextualised, self‑paced modules on proposal writing and resource mobilisation for local partners. Designed specifically for low‑bandwidth environments, the modules reflect the legal, operational and coordination realities of the DRC and are being delivered in French, Congo‑Swahili and Lingala.
