RedR applies our targeted expertise to help meet global needs through advisory services, resource development and systems strengthening.
This technical assistance responds to direct calls for support across specific areas, ranging from targeted learning and development needs—such as competency frameworks and learning strategy design—to core humanitarian functions including proposal development and financing, facilitation and moderation skills, as well as specialised technical areas such as WASH, climate resilience, disaster risk reduction, engineering in emergencies, protection, and safety and security management.
Co-design workshop to contextualize GCA’s Urban Climate Resilience Masterclass
In July 2025, RedR provided targeted technical assistance to support the contextualisation of the Urban Climate Resilience Masterclass (UCRMC) for Somalia. Through a three‑day, multi‑stakeholder co‑design process in Nairobi involving 37 Somali government officials, development partners and technical experts, RedR helped identify priority climate resilience needs, institutional capacity gaps and operational barriers. This informed the full adaptation of the UCRMC package, resulting in a comprehensive set of training materials tailored to Somalia’s climate, infrastructure and governance context.
