This is a free interactive online module, delivered live by RedR UK’s hygiene promotion experts, on 22nd April from 09:00-11:00 (BST). You will learn how COVID-19 is spread and the practical hygiene measures you can take to control and prevent the spread of COVID-19. You will learn how to promote appropriate hygiene measures to your colleagues, clients and within your communities in ways that are culturally appropriate.
This module is part of a three-module programme relating to Covid-19. The other modules cover Covid-19 Myth Busting and Managing Stress During the Covid-19 Pandemic. You may take all three modules or any module individually. You can look at our upcoming module dates here.

WHAT DOES THE COURSE COVER?

Hygiene measures to control and prevent the spread of COVID-19 at home and in the community (for example when caring for someone with suspected COVID-19 in your home or when supporting others in the community who are self-isolating)

How to promote appropriate hygiene measures in your community in ways that are culturally appropriate.
The module is designed for those working in the community in response to the COVID-19 pandemic in the UK. This includes NGO personnel, community group members, faith leaders, and volunteers.
For this module, RedR UK is also offering HPass Badging. An HPass badge is a digital indicator of achievement, and a way for participants to demonstrate their skills and experience. If you complete all three of RedR UK’s Covid-19 modules, you will receive a milestone badge. More information on HPass Badging can be found here.
