Summer Appeal
Throughout August, we ran our summer appeal – our yearly fundraising campaign to support our work across the globe. We shone the spotlight on Leonardo, an aid worker in Venezuela and one of many humanitarians we trained in response to the Venezuelan Refugee Crisis.

As disasters continue around the world, it is imperative that we support humanitarians with the skills, knowledge, and tools to be ready for and respond to crises. We need the funds to do this, and so we reached out to you, our donors and supporters, for help.
We’re thrilled to announce that thanks to your donations, our summer appeal raised a total of £8,695!
Thank you to everyone who donated. Your generosity was inspiring, and we can say with certainty that aid workers around the world will benefit from RedR training that we can continue to deliver with your support. From Venezuela to Bangladesh, your donations will go towards helping aid workers like Leonardo.

WearRed 2021
Earlier this month, we ran our annual fundraiser: WearRed. This year, however, we decided to do things a little differently. With many people around the world working either partially or completely from home, we moved WearRed online!
From the 6th to the 10th of September, we hosted daily lunchtime webinars covering topics ranging from inclusivity to humanitarian engineering.
We want to thank the brilliant speakers from Arup, WSP, and Tony Gee & Partners, who lent their expertise for these webinars. We were amazed by how many people tuned in! Each webinar was very well attended, with an excellent show of support for every speaker.
The talks were so popular that by the end of the WearRed week, we’d received lots of emails asking for recordings of the webinars. For those who were unable to join during the week, or for those who want to revisit these insightful webinars, we uploaded nearly all of the webinars to our YouTube channel!
