Course outcomes:
By the end of the course participants will be able to:
· Specify the guards role
· Describe how Image and acceptance & Interpersonal communication is important to a guards role
· Describe what the threats are to you and your work & identify ways to reduce the threat
· Describe the correct VHF Communications Procedures in the context of guard stations
· Conduct site roving patrol
· Display the guest and visitor procedures
· Display the correct procedure of searching people, property and vehicles
· Describe the procedure for handover to another security guard
· Recording and logging of people and vehicles
· Describe or display what to do in a basic emergency situation (fire, accident, incident, intruder etc.)
Cost:
The cost of the course is USD 50/participant/day for International NGOs and USD 25/participant/day for National NGOs (per the standard, subsidised rates).

The course will take place at the RedR UK Pakistan Office, House no. 18, Street 1, F-6/3, Islamabad, 44000, Pakistan on the following dates:
