Hands-on experiences

HoW 2014

RedR's Hands-On Experiences offer individuals without humanitarian experience the chance to learn more about disaster relief. It presents an opportunity to try some practical exercises and test your skills needed when working in disasters. They are also useful for networking, and hearing from experienced aid workers and RedR Members.

Hands-On Experiences take place in locations throughout the UK, including Sussex, Devon, Yorkshire, Glasgow and Cambridgeshire, mainly from April-September each year.

Read about the shelter in emergencies-focused weekend held in Sussex in September 2015.
