RedR's training builds the skills of aid workers, enabling them to be more effective in their work, saving and rebuilding more lives. All our training is delivered by expert trainers who have a high-level of knowledge and experience of working in the field.
RedR runs training in countries directly affected by natural disaster and conflict, ensuring skills and knowledge reach those who need it most. We currently have programmes in Sri Lanka and Sudan.
RedR courses are attended by national staff in countries which are affected by natural disaster and conflict. This means we build local capacity and help communities be prepared for future disasters.
RedR delivers courses in response to demand from aid agencies and aid workers, meaning the training is relevant and reflects a real need.
Our training combines theoretical knowledge with a practical approach, helping to ensure that aid workers are prepred for the real-life situations they face on assignment.
RedR's on-line Technical Support Service and Members' Network enable relief workers to receive the support they need wherever they are working, however remote.
It is vital to have people with the right skills and knowledge working on relief programmes. Following major global emergencies, RedR recurits from its pool of experienced, professional members, meaning that the best possible people are responding and helping rebuild lives.
RedR runs workshops and provides advice for people entering the humanitarian sector, enabling them to make informed decisions and ensuring that the right people will be available to react to disasters in the future.
RedR has a wealth of knowledge and expertise across many areas of humanitarian work, which it shares with the disaster relief sector, improving disaster response and helping ensure that affected communities receive the best possible aid following an emergency.
